Rental Property Search - How it works:

Initial consultation

We'll have a detailed conversation to help me fully understand your property requirements and to discuss and agree the home search package that's right for you.

Confirm housing criteria

Together we'll confirm your criteria, documenting specific needs and preferences. Where relevant, I liaise with related services such as educational support to match school options with housing requirements.

Search the rental market

Drawing on my local knowledge, expertise and network of industry contacts, I thoroughly search the rental market gathering information and property details - including those not on the open market - and filter through to create a shortlist for you.

Property viewing tour

A viewing date is agreed, I arrange and accompany you on a scheduled tour of the shortlisted properties, guiding you through comparisons of architectural styles, space and budget, so that you can make informed decisions.

Landlord and tenancy negotiations

When you've selected the property that's right for you, I'll negotiate the most favourable terms with the landlord or their agent - including rental price, break clause, renewal options, conditional requirements or any special requests - and submit the offer on your behalf.

Managing to completion

I review the lease agreement, with particular attention to your interests as tenant and manage the process through to completion, ensuring everything goes through smoothly and quickly for your tenancy start.

Helping you identify the location that’s right for you

An orientation tour reduces the stress of deciding exactly where to live and ensures that a subsequent home search is more precisely focused on the area that's right for you - be it central London, suburban outskirts or leafy commuter belt.

It's an opportunity to explore prospective neighbourhoods and to find out more about housing and schooling options, commuting, local amenities, cultural aspects, and leisure facilities.

Visits to example properties are included and, if required, school visits can be incorporated into a day's orientation.



Attending inventory check-in and property inspection

I'm there for you on move-in day, to oversee the inventory check-in and make sure that the condition of the property is accurately documented. Meter readings are taken for transfer of utilities into your name and the keys handed over.


Getting Settled

Continued support, helping you settle in and feel at home sooner

Settling-in assistance provides a good overview of your new living environment and ensures that you’ll soon be feeling right at home.

Services tailored to your requirements typically include assistance with opening a UK bank account, medical registration, information about getting around in your new location, public transport, local amenities, domestic services, health clubs and leisure facilities.

For relocating families moving from abroad, I offer a range of personalised services supporting your partner and facilitating your children's integration in the UK.


Departure Services

Managing a smooth and hassle-free departure

Efficient management of the end of a tenancy can avoid significant costs. Working on your behalf, I'll make sure that your lease is properly terminated and your security deposit is returned in a timely manner. Services include

  • Arranging end-of-tenancy cleaning
  • Overseeing inventory check-out
  • Managing termination of utility accounts
